the essay topic of NUS, that mean I write to a guy that would be fired? Or only request him to improve?

It can be both of your considerations.

The answer to the essay question is not unique, but it must show your logical thinking and business sense from either management, control, planing, financing or process.

Also, it can be a test of your English, pay attention to the wording.
