Dear Chinese IS Students and Scholars,

We (Department of Accounting and Information Systems at Michigan State University) are trying to hire 2-4 PhD students in the area of Information Systems (MIS), starting from Fall 2018. We are mostly interested in applicants who want to do data-driven or data-intensive research, including econometrics, Bayesian modeling, data/text mining etc.  
Students who have experience in math/stats/CS are extremely welcome. The application deadline has been extended to Feb 7th. We will start interview next week (Feb 4th). If you have further questions, please leave messages below.

Similar to other B-school phd programs, financial support is not a problem (we offer scholarship and RA/TA wage). East Lansing, Michigan is a nice place to do research and write academic papers. Our university has one of the biggest campus in US. Our b-school has a high USNEWS rank among US public schools. Our research team focuses on/applies the cutting-edge research methods/topics in the area of information systems.

We generally admit one to three students (typically two) every other fall (2018, 2020, 2022…).

所以19年是不招学生了吗

因为要排phd seminar的问题，所以一般每隔一年招两个或者三个人。今年是招生年~当然如果今年招的人数不够，19年还会看的。
