我的选择是B，正确答案是D。

首先B选项没有语法错误吧，B选项并列的是  executives examine…… ,and they use……，这个难道是they不对了，指代不明？也不是吧，但是从并列的角度讲，我觉得两个句子没毛病呀，或者是因为句意上，重点搞错啦？

D选项可以理解，examine……和decide……是并列的，但是相比下，B到底差在了哪里？

诶，我我我自己好像有点知道了。。。。但还是欢迎大家指正哈，给我点信息。
B错在，可以那样子并列，但是两个句子主语是一样的，并列的话，they要省略掉才好。

首先是A的重心是在can decide上面，没有语法错误，一般不会改变原句重心。

另外B的in deciding 没有办法解释把。方式？to decide更好。而且comma+and 后面要跟完整的句子they不应该省略，如果省略they，comma也要去掉
