学校会主动发邮件邀请学生申请吗 INSEAD

昨天我收到了INSEAD Academic Director的邮件--

Invitation to apply to the INSEAD PhD Programme 2018
I am writing to encourage you to explore a career in research and business academia. Given your overall profile that you have provided to GMAT, I believe that you could be cut out for a career as a professor in management and a possible applicant to our PhD Programme. balah blah

我是申请小白，本科毕业，工作三年了，最近刚刚考了第一次GMAT，连INSEAD这个学校都不知道，直到我收到了这份邮件。光看名字，我一开始还以为是什么野鸡学校了。后来我查了一下这个学校，发现原来排名那么好。我只想申请MBA啊，PhD这个也太。。。

请问你们有收过学校邀请申请的邮件吗？谢谢！

Hey there!
So apply for the MBA!
This email you received is just part of their marketing department. It has little bearing on your actual chances or whether the program fits you. But I agree, INSEAD is a great school! And if you are interested in it, you should for sure go for the MBA!
