没有numbers of这个用法么？

D选项对。
请问下C选项错在哪里了？numbers of没有这个用法么？我记得是“大量的”的意思昂。。。。

楼上瞎说。。
两个都是可以的，但是不是这题的考点
a number of / numbers of + 可数名词复数 + 动词复数
可以理解为量词结构，a number of表示一些，numbers of表示大量   
of后面的复数名词才是核心词，谓语动词因此总是复数

他可能想表达的意思是一般情况 the number of +is （number 代表一个整体来看 或者一个“数字”来看 作单数）（但是据说有意外 比如the numebers of boys and girls are... 所以还是按照具体情况具体对待就好）


这里我也做错了 查阅了相关的资料 都没能找到一个很好的解释，但是如果从句子意思上出发 其实这题没有那么难。
原句的意思是，委员会承认 无论是 “多充足的资金”或者“多庞大的员工”都不能保证 blablabla
再回到选项中反推的话--D选项即vast amounts of money  强调的是vast amounts  与后面的 a large staff 强调large 平行
C 选项 neither vast amounts of money nor numbers of staff members 强调是的money 和 staff ----无论是 钱 还是 员工 都不能保证。。。破坏了原句的意思。所以这题选择D

个人觉得 不可能考察numbers of  和 a large  谁比谁简洁，两个表达的方式都不一样 何从谈起谁优谁劣            
numbers of 后面的词才是核心词（这个知识点CD有据可查） 所以C里面的核心词 是staff 但是逻辑上应该是 “多庞大的”才对。

我自己一个小小的总结 就是 过分的去总结一个hard rule 绝对不是一个好习惯，你不能说a large 比 numbers 好。可能这一题说得通，但是遇到其他题目 很容易很容易就让你迷信这个错误的hard rule 而 miss 正确答案。

我依然坚持我的观点：  从句子意思出发。C 说的重点转移了。自己读一读就知道了嘛~
