Happy to help! Generally, no, there really isn't a major difference in quality of instruction. You will get top faculty and research in both programs, that's for sure! I would say then that the professors and offerings are going to be strong for each school. The only factor you'll want to consider is to review their respective course offerings to see which program is better matched to your post-MBA goals. Hope this helps too!

Thank you Jon for your reply. I am also admitted by the University of Maryland College Park. The major I apply is MBA. Is there a huge discrepancy between UIUC and UMD in terms of the quality of instruction? Because I have to make my final decision, even though I really appreciate both of the schools. Thanks so much for your note! Re: UIUC, it’s a strong program which places well across consulting, financial services, consumer products/retail, and manufacturing. Overall, I would recommend it, but you want to ensure it aligns well with your post-MBA goals. Hope this helps!

期待楼主回来分享自己的感受……carey商学院所在的地理位置确实高大上，在Baltimore的Inner Harbour，那片区域也确实相对安全些，街上全天有警察巡逻。我有次去Baltimore面试，住他们家对门的四季。晚上12点后出酒店去附近的CVS买东西，还是满安全的。不过离开一段距离之后就有点瘆的慌了……
另外他们一个二年级的学生说，Carey现在还不是大多数公司的core school。其实就业是一个挑战……不过我认识Carey毕业的同学，有人在美国留下来了，有人就找不到，所以估计还是看人
