both Harvard and MIT don't have financial mathematics (financial engineering / computational finance) program at master level, and your profile is 100% for sure cannot get into the PhD, so you can forget about this.

(MIT MSF don't count: just look at their program structure and their placement.......)

well.......why MFE >>>>>>> MSF in finding a job in US (or indeed also other country) and thus can stay is exactly because of their programming ability........

think twice of "must go US" if you don't like coding too much.

现在不想让父母再背上经济压力了，毕竟父母都50岁了，自己还给父母添麻烦太过意不去，最近查了查学校，有些学校硕士是有奖的，比如rochester, MIT MFin，能减免一点压力也就小了

浙大这两年出国人越来越多，在美国的reputation好了不少，也有不少MIT的，不过都是工科，MFin不是太清楚，我再去问一下，谢谢你的鼓励，让我又有动力准备下去了o(^▽^)o

那就申请个硕士好了，出来工作一年父母的钱就回来了。读博士还是要有强大的动力的，至少是毕业一心或者只想做research的，如果不是这样还是不读好。
