Great question, my friend. I wish you had asked this a few weeks ago when you had some time before the deadlines (instead of just a few days!), but better late than never, right!?
Honestly, at this point, I'd drop Columbia. There ARE people that will get in (they wouldn't accept applications if they weren't going to accept more students!) but it's very, very hard. And nearly impossible for international students. That school has rolling deadlines, which means that they are accepting people every day. And that means that every day you wait, there are fewer and fewer spots available. If you're an International Applicant and you want to go to CBS, you gotta apply Early Action, or as close to that as possible. The longer you wait, the harder it is to get in. So, at this point, it's just going to be a VERY slim chance of getting in.
So rather than spread yourself too thin and sacrifice the quality of those other apps, drop CBS and focus all of your attention on Kellogg, Booth and Wharton. Those are VERY tough programs to get into, and you need to make sure you're going in with the best applications possible, my friend. So devote yourself to those, and give them everything you've got. Hopefully you're not just starting on those now, of course!
Good luck!!! Please keep us posted on how it all goes! |
