正确答案是：
which have increased 5% during the  first three months of this year after falling
解释原句increase动作发生在fell后面，两个动词这样都用过去式不能体现时间先后
所以前面要用present perfect
但是MANHANTAN不是说，present perfect只有动作持续到现在或者对现在有影响才用吗？
而且是the first three month的时间状语，没有涵盖present这个时间点，为什么还可以用present perfect呢？

either "increased" or "have increased" would make sense, depending on context. if the sentence is written immediately at the end of the third month of the year, then "have increased" is right. if it's written later, then "increased" makes more sense.
