After I searched this question in CD for a hour, I still cannot find the answer... TT... (in school computer lab so I cannot type Chinese..Sorry)
In OG 13 35, "when" is the correct pronoun for "time".
In og13 72, "when" and "in which" can be used interchangeably to modify "an age".
Also, I saw someone said "以前上XDF的时老师讲说 age用in which 修饰 ; time 具体年代用when修饰"
Could someone tells me the differences between these "in which" and "when"? Thanks!
in which的前提本身是修饰时间time的,但是亲你看到了前面time有个介词at,又是at a time又是in a time那这句话到底想要说什么,把in a time带进去,那in a time也不是什么惯用短语丫亲......

The pronoun when can be used to modify a noun e ...
However, in OG 13 35, the author says "when" is the proper modifier for "a time" in that case....
是因为 the only exception is "a time"?
还是因为结合语义 there's an "at" used before "a time" 所以不用 "in" ?
I selected D at the first place because of the same reason you mentioned above.. TT
嗯,两个是可以对调的,Manhattan语法第六章讲过一句话:The pronoun when can be used to modify a noun event or time, such as period, age,1987,or decade. In these circumstances, you can also use in which instead of when.
