我的疑惑点
1.指代问题 第一句话里两句话里主句用 Mary Leakey或Mary Leakey's 区别在哪？是否都能指代到
2.第一句里的C选项问题在哪呀？ C 选项也工整呀，我有看manhattan，上面提到
in addition to +n 里的这个n (you can use it to add another example to a different noun in the sentense, such as the object of the verb or some other noun.)
那么第一句话里C中，her work可以和discovery平行呀  所以C从语法结构上讲应该是木有问题的吧  所以排除C是否是从句意上去区分呢？

我懂起这个him是指代不到Tom的, 这个是不用多说，公认的指代不到~


但是前面这个tom's是不是可以指代到his
如果说tom's 是adj ,不能作先行词
那换个角度想
这个His是所有格，这个tom's 也是所有格
在都是所有格的情况下， 有没有可能  tom's = his    呢？?
换句话说：这个his的he 是不是tom?
我记得这个好像是有题可以证明能指代到的，所以你看第一个问题的ML'S 才可以指代到 her
