OG对A的解释是: citrus does not agree with them and they，这个是没有问题的，我想问的是如果把代词全部换成it，A选项算对吗？
对于E选项，实在没法理解的一点是weather rots the fruit，请教大家！

其实这题把they/them换成it还是错误的，有一个错误点是before和when 连用。
以下是摘自歪猴的千行的知识点：
根据ETS的解释，可以推断before/after+when这种时间状语连用是不符合语言习惯的。请参考OG124对after when的解释。

after is a proposition, so should be followed by noun or pronoun and can NOT be followed by when clause.                            关于A选项中的when为什么比E选项中的before 要次？
个人见解：
单从意思角度上来理解，A选项所要传达的是，这个水果，在warm weather 回来的确切的这一时刻！腐烂了（注意这里有意思的模糊层面，就是留给人有YY的余地.到底是warm weather导致了这个腐烂，还是warm weather 这个时刻的其他因素导致了这个水果的腐烂呢？We don't know）

看看E选项：很明显说出了warm weather是使水果腐烂的主体（这是就没有任何空间去YY了，clarified）
