请问一下关于A选项。OG说including modifies the whole phrase,but the two actors named are not generations of actors.The more limiting clause whose ranks included is approriate here. 这里including修饰的是several generations of actors吧？ 这两个演员不是几代演员，但是几代演员不应该包括这两个演员吗？inlcuding 为什么不对呢？whose ranks included 为什么觉得那么奇怪呢。

太感谢了，但是为什么用training 而不用trained呢？

我觉得楼主是死扣了就近修饰这个原则了，就近修饰不是说修饰最最靠近的那个名词或者其他，而是要从意思上或者说从逻辑上理解修饰的对象到底是什么。
如题（ps. 应该是As an actress吧，看了半天才想起来）要们Stella Adler做主语，要么one作主语（其实也就是Stella Adler），动词是什么？was ？train？
E不用看了，缺连词和as。
如果was做动词，那么train多半做从句或者其他啥的，选项有ACD，其中A和D差不多意思（粗看），就是include到底修饰啥，这里including是定语从句的作用，那么按照就近原则其逻辑主语是generations of actors，虽然actor最近，但是其真正的主语是generations，如果这样，那么include后面应该是列举generation的，例如：迷茫的一代啊，黄金一代啊等，所以排除AD。剩下BC，B其实也是include的从句修饰的问题。
剩下C：Stella Adler was one of the most influential artists in the American theater, training several generations of actors whose ranks included，这里whose修饰generations，而include的主语变了，不是generations了，而是generations ranks，而这里的主语其实是ranks。ranks是啥：the ordinary members of an organization，就是如楼上yuanhaowen说的“一群人”，generations ranks就是一群各个年代都有的人，那么这么一群人自然可以用include。

PS 1. 普及下：Marlon Brando and Robert De Niro，他们不是同代人，参考电影《教父I》，Marlon是教父的老年，Robert是教父的青壮年，所以两人年纪差好多了，Marlon已过世，Robert还在能演打斗场面。
PS 2. 为啥这里用who不用which，这取决于generation 的属性，这里是指人，所以用who，如果是老虎啥的就用which，除非高深到诗歌里的拟人作用。

A IS B ON/OF C, WHICH/WHO的结构中 后面的relative clause不能修饰B，只能修饰C，因为如果relative clause修饰B 就直接可以写成 A IS B ON/OF C does sth.简洁的结构了。所以A选项可以直接写成Stella Adler was one of the most influential artists in the American theater and trained.....
至于A选项后面的including为什么不能修饰actors只能修饰generations of actors，我也不太明白，但我认为可以看成修饰的歧义，umbiguous，还期待版主NN们的解答。。。
至于B选项：我觉得有两处不太好 SA这个人 还有她的同位语到底哪个做trained的主语？还有一点是“定语从句的谓语表示的动作和主句谓语表示的动作同时发生，则要求使用同样的时态”这里trained和included应该是同时发生的吧，可惜我做题的时候总是发现不到时态的错误
C选项我觉得用法就很顺了 主系表，doing 补充信息

我想楼主应该是觉得那个ranks奇怪吧
那个ranks应该指代的是一类具体的人群，不是verb。

generations of actors 就是 actors' generations ,强调的是generations，   generations 不会including 这几个演员吧，generations including的应该是  ”30年代、40年代或者 第一代、第二代“   酱子的

是选C么？A主要的问题在于那个who，including应该不是大问题。
