CMU的MKT shortlist已经出来了

我没有进shortlist, 大家如果申请了他们家还没消息的就move on吧，他们已经面试完了，说实话并不觉得他们家有多strong，以后还望谁拿到他们家面试在版上报一下吧，也给大家提供点信息

是的，尽管我也take了博士的两学期微观，还有IO, 以及博士的计量，但总共也就五门经济的课，他们标准的硕士估计要上十几门课的。所以在课程背景上吃了大亏，不过去了再好好做吧，呵呵

I guess all these top programs (both finance and marketing, even accounting) care a lot about the economics background. With your chemistry background, it's hard to impress them. Guess both WashU and Kellogg your reference writers should have close connections, otherwise you won't have any chance. So many top econ applicants nowadays

其实就是应用统计，随机过程还有一些简单的计算机算法和优化。相对比较容易上手，这块也是计算机领域非常活跃的分支，相关的杂志以及conference特别多。
