我查了一下原题，是这么感觉的：首先，修饰成分中，代词的数量越少越好，用形式主语更是冗余。
其次，把强调句式去了，这句话是： where that it was immune from human influence has long appear. 而正确选项是where it has long appear immune to human influence. 显然第二种用法更加适合使用习惯。
