关于关系代词which的一点疑问（重发）

C和D都是错误答案，解释提到which incorrectly and illogically modifies emission. 但是根据MANHATTAN，Use WHICH ONLY to refer to the noun immediately preceding it. 也就是说A项里的which也应该指代emission,个人感觉很矛盾，望大侠指教~

我没有书，我在网上搜了一下这句话是这么说的，它是针对which是否可以指代整句话。
不过不管怎么样，你不能指望曼哈顿说的有多严谨，所以手头备上两本语法书是必要的。
