同感，见过大多数with都是错的。但有个例。

这里with引导的独立主格修饰主语，表示与主语相关的事物（thesis）的伴随状态。与主句意思应当并列或在同一时间发生。

而本句意思应该理解为，他懒（所以导致了）他的论文没有完成，弱因果关系，用and连接。
