答案是D。但是我的疑问是C为什么不对呢？C中的do do 结构平行啊，而且在D中的最后not buy a pair of skis and a boomerang as well 中 否定句中的并列不是应该用 or 而不是and 啊，为什么D还是最佳选项呢？

do very little impulse shopping 包含 comes in for a basketball will leave with a basketball only and not buy a pair of skis and a boomerang as well 这种行为，所以不能并列。
根据句意前面说只买一个basketball而不买其他任何东西，所以后面对照就是不同时买两个东西形成对比，这里不能用or。
