求问OG 13 SC73

og给的答案是后面的那个which没有先行词，不是很理解，我觉得which就是指可以touch exhibit 这件事情
正确答案是改成 exhibit and thereby activate，说activate和touch的主语都是人，但是人激发了艺术品的有生气的功能不是很奇怪么。。

thereby啊，有意思！都忽视它了呢。

这里activates和encourages是平行，所以不知道是thereby的“拆”力大一点呢，还是平行的“合”力大一点…还是想不通到底是咋整呢

我拿来安慰自己的理由是：会不会OG里所谓的"no antecedent"其实是"no appropriate antecedent"的意思呢…

我也觉得有点奇怪，但我的理解是
因为which后面有个thereby，所以OG意思应该是 activates the XXXXX 这个动作是前面 VLP encourages visitors to touch each exhibit 整个过程造成的结果，而不是exhibit（否则不需要thereby了），因此which此处用来指代这句话，像我们平时用的一样，但是GMAT中which是不能指代一整句话的，所以就无所指了。

其他我也想不到解释了

但og解释是has no antecedent in the sentence——没有指代对象，而不是wrong antecedent——错误指代…好像在说which语法上是不能指代exhibit的，我就晕乎了…exhibit明明是个就近名词，为神马which语法上不能指代它呀？

其实语感比什么都重要，语感语义在语法就渺小了。

原来是省略了to 做题的时候选不出来啊 还在想activate怎么没有s 谢谢啦！
