「关于夹心修饰，来自Prep08笔记」
所以歧义修饰，是因为引发了不同的理解，而并不是语法上是否会有不同的修饰，所谓夹心修饰也是这个原则。很多人对“夹心修饰”都有过一个误解，认为S, v-ing, V. + O.结构中，v-ing既可以往前修饰S，也可以往后修饰V就是夹心，而实际上夹心并不是“可以往前修饰S，也可以往后修饰V” 。在S, v-ing, V. + O.这样的表达中，v-ing约定俗成只伴随修饰动词，（重点！！）

B选项的分析（baby姐）：
如果你当"carefully coordinating them ..."修饰h后面出现的"Beatrix Potter ..."的话：
1. "carefully coordinating them ..."前面和后面都有东东，很awkward.
我们可以说：
Slipping on the ice, I hurt my ankle.
但不能说：
On the playground, slipping on the ice, I hurt my ankle.  
这个句子"slipping ..."到底是跟着前面的"playground"还是跟着后面的"I hurt my ankle"？所以很awkward.
如果是跟着后面的"I hurt my ankle"，那么就是
adverbial modifier #1, adverbial modifier #2, main clause.
你有见着两个同时修饰同一个句子的adverbial modifiers就那么用逗号串联么？

所以第一处highlight的部分与第二处bold的部分不是互相矛盾吗？（第二处是截图）

我也不太熟悉大家说的夹心。但是不管它是什么东西，我认为它应该是这样的两个位置比较多的出现；
就是在句 ...

嗯〜我也觉得规律只是参考啦，能够真正通过句意理解歧义是什么，歧义在哪里才是比较重要的〜挣扎中！

我也不太熟悉大家说的夹心。但是不管它是什么东西，我认为它应该是这样的两个位置比较多的出现；
就是在句首和主语后， 与其搞清楚这个词的定义不如分门别类的去考查那种情况是允许的那种情况是被接受的。
句首情况；
1，两个介词短语，s - v - o
2.现在分词介词短语，……
3过去分词介词短语，……
4现在分词，过去分词，…
5……
6……。
当你经过自己一番考查，比对以后你明白了那种情况下有歧义，那种情况下是正常表达。你也就彻底弄懂了夹心结构。
当然看一些大牛的总结是很好的。节省时间，但是要想达到大牛的水平，非是要自己经过这个过程不可。
不知道楼主以为然否？

你有见着两个同时修饰同一个句子的adverbial modifiers就那么用逗号串联么？

首先你要确定两个情况是否相同；黄色部分v-ing约定俗成只伴随修饰动词，（重点！！）是说  S,ving ,v o,   另一句显然不是。
另外无论是ron还是笔记的作者都不是语法学家，他们更多的是针对一类情况说的。例如我觉得黄色这句话你有见着两个同时修饰同一个句子的adverbial modifiers就那么用逗号串联么？就未必准确
