E选项的时态也不对。原句用的是现在完成时，表示“直到现在仍然有影响”，而E用过去时，说明“现在无影响”。
此外，很重要的一点：raise hopes for sth. 和 raise hopes that sth. do...是有区别的。前者强调的是（什么样的）东西；而后者强调：东西怎么样
