精算实习对申请MFE有帮助吗？

现在在国内找MFE相关的实习太难了！数量少不说，而且都要研究生。目前拿到了保险公司精算部的实习，不知道这个对以后申请MFE有帮助吗？

Hi there, and thanks for your question. I totally understand that it is very hard to find Financial Engineering related work in China, since the Chinese capital market is still quite new. In my opinion, actuarial work is the best and most relevant job you can get at the moment. To be honest, this experience will not only help your application to FE, but it will also improve your chances while job huntinglater on. As you may know, actuarial work is one of the most popular fields in the US. If you really like this area, I’d even suggest you focus on being an actuary and building a career out of it.
