CPA cannot guarantee offers from BIG4, and as an international student, the odds actually against you in current economy, think about it twice if you wanna switch to CPA just for better chance of getting a job from BIG4.
Someone passed CPA(average score:93) before graduation didn't get any offer from BIG4, there are somethings else important than CPA, such as your immigration status, gender(female friendly), social skills, and interview skills.

Hi, my friend. Jon Frank here, happy to help! When it comes to career selection, of course you can consider the economic climate andoutlook of the industry. But more importantly, you need to figure out what interests you the most. What’s your ultimate career goal? Accounting and finance are actually very different fields thatrequire unique skill sets and competencies. If you already have good accounting experience and you like what you do, I’d suggest you stick with that. Further your study of accounting, strive for your CPA certification, and build towards your long-term career. On the other hand, if you envision yourself in a financial career in the future, then work towards a degree in that area. Hope this helps!

Hi, my friend! Thanks for your question. As you probably know, finance and accounting are totally different fields thatcan lead to different career paths. If you are interested in accounting, getting your CPA is definitely the right path to follow. In order to take the CPA, you need enough credits from school, so you may need to pursue a master’s degree in this area first. This is actually how you plan your education and career path, and if accounting is what you love, this is the way to go. Finance is another popular industry. However, the reality is that this market is oversaturated; therefore, it is extremely competitive. If you are not incredibly passionate about it, I would suggest you stick with accounting. But if finance is what you absolutely love, by all means pursue that dream! Hope this helps!

为什么不IBD呢?

You do not know how hard it is...for a non-target school student...

我觉得你应该走CPA。IBD这条路还是算了。

为什么不IBD呢?

都不是!不过之前MS IA是有sponsor的 几率很小罢了
