疑惑：解析说主句主语the chain of retail stores核心词是the chain，表示单数概念，所以后面代词用its不用their。
但是我认为suppliers' operations的逻辑主语应该是retail stores，因为供应商supplier对应的不应该是零售商retail stores吗？难道是供应链的供应者？实在不明白。

as在这里是介词，表示during the time of being

第二个题目的问题不知道你问有什么意义，这本身就是错误答案为什么还要它为何是正确的？

这道题目的正确答案是C，白勇书上答案是错的！

好几个国外网站上都说OA是C。
1. C的省略：并列句第二句的Be动词省略，完全正确；
2. superior to是固定搭配，没有superior over的用法。
