求问 MIT Vandy 这样的学校赶第二轮申请意义大么

是不是第二轮基本都不录取了啊? 有经验的同学回答一下~~~~~~

上年来看，MIT第二轮机会比第一轮大多了，第一轮录了60多个，内地本都是北清复交浙5校的。

第二轮结束之后录了146个，上财，武大，厦大，对外经贸等等都有，标准也低了很多。

没那么夸张

第一轮录了54个
第二轮录了差不多70个
第三轮把第一第二轮拒掉他的同学空出来的位子补上，又录了四五十个

第一轮炮灰的飘过。。中介催我round１，我就去催教授ＲＬ，结果ｐｒｏ给我讲第二轮貌似机会更多，但是我还是义无返顾选择去做了炮灰。。。

Hi there, my friend! Generally speaking, schools will always keep a certain quota of enrollment for each round. Keeping that in mind, there are two pieces of advice for you:

First, aim for the first round. It’s always better to prepare and apply early. This will show that you have a long-term plan and are able to stick with the plan. Also this can express your interest and passion for the school and being willing to commit.

Second, it reeeeeally depends on you which round to apply. Evaluate your preparation and schedule. If you are not ready for the first round, don’t rush it. Show the BEST side of yourself. Especially for MIT or Vandy level schools, you definitely need more time to prepare.

Finally, don’t try to go with the “easy round”. The only thing you can control is your own application.

目测仍然round 1比较挤，商学院同学都会hangli2这样想，所以有较大概率做出相反行为。

去年，大家听说第一轮录取的人多，都去挤第一轮，然后第一轮挤爆了

有了去年的教训，大家今年都去挤第二轮，目测今年第二轮会挤爆

市场总是滞后+过度反应
