我在prep語法筆記08裏面看到有說，with形式的獨立主格与主句主语有紧密的逻辑关系，上題thesis與council沒有直接的關係吧，這個算是獨立主格結構嘛？

另外，形如She arrived at the park, with flowers in blossom.這裡she明顯跟獨立主格的從句沒有邏輯關係吧，那麼這樣的結構算什麽呢？這樣的結構跟獨立主格結構又要如何區分呢？

今天看到版主您在微博上解答某问题的时候说：“with可以做名词修饰语，也可以做副词修饰语修饰全句，有歧义”。对于这道题您也是这个意思吧？？在Manhattan论坛上一个学生问："Comma+with phrase cannot modify the preceding noun.It must modify the previous clause.That is why D is wrong." 一个Manhattan staff（不是Ron）回答说：“correct”.
我就困惑了，选项A&D中with结构在句尾且前面有逗号，不能直接看作是错误地修饰了"Shopping for a better world"这本书/Noun，而实际上应该修饰前面的整个clause呢？  还是因为歧义错误？ 或者两个说法都行呀？

謝謝你啊，我看了with的用法了，我想知道的應該是下面這個吧：

with结构与独立主格结构的关系： with结构属于独立主格结构，但在结构上，with结构由介词with或without引导，名词前有冠词、形容词、所有格代词或其它词类所修饰，结构较松散;而独立主格结构没有with或without引导，结构严密，名词前可用可不用修饰语。在句法功能上，with结构可以作定语，独立主格结构则不能;独立主格结构通常在句中作状语，但也可以作主语，而with结构则不能。

独立主格在口语中不常用，往往由一个从句代替，而with结构较口语化，较常用。例如：

There were rows of white houses with trees in front of them.("with+复合宾语"结构，在句中作定语)

A strong man working a whole day could not jump this high.(名词+现在分词构成的独立主格结构，作主语)

The boy said，turning to the man，his eyes opened wide and his hand raised.(独立主格结构，表示伴随状况或行为方式，作状语)

Then last night，I followed him here，and climbed in，sword in hand.(名词+介词短语构成的独立主格结构，作状语，表示伴随情况)。


另外，上面那題不是with having done結構哦，它只是說with consumers having power^^

with used here will create unavoidable ambiguity


1.noun modifier（modifies Shopping for the Better World）：the thesis of book is.....


2. adverbial modifier（modifies the preceding clause）：began publishing with the thesis...（the thesis is not necessarily in the book， but can be construed as a means for the Council to publish this book）


also，of + noun +having cannot clarify the whole point the sentence is trying to convey




based on the above statement，E is absolutely better than A

LZ亲可以看一下首页的关于with用法的总结
本题来讲，E：with+n+having done是不正确的使用方法，having不可做定语修饰N；从本剧逻辑含义来讲，用with引导的非限定性短语做伴随状语错误，因为thesis是Shopping for a Better World这本书的主题而不可作为伴随；thesis后面用of不好，thesis变成了某一类特定的consumers，而应该改为同位语从句，或者用冒号来引出从句。
