As a matter of fact, the placement of my department is not that bad. The most recent graduate went to UNC Greensboro. For your information, I found the recent placement of the marketing department of my school as following. Some of you may even consider taking it as a backup. Your background might be too strong to consider it though.

Michael Breazeale, from Jackson, Mississippi, completed his PhD in 2010. His dissertation was entitled Three Essays on Customer Chemistry. Dr. Breazeale is now assistant professor of Marketing at Indiana University Southeast.
William C. Martin, from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, completed his Ph.D. in 2009. Dissertation title: "Investigating the Antecedents and Consequences of Perceived Connectedness to Brand Users: Brand Communities Versus Brand Collectivities." Dr. Martin is an assistant professor of Marketing at the University of North Dakota.
Donald C. Barnes, from St. Catherines, Ontario, Canada, completed his PhD in 2009. His dissertation was titled: "3 Essays on Customer Delight." Dr. Barnes is assistant professor of Marketing at the State University of New York - Fredonia.
Zachary Williams, from Hillsdale, Michigan, completed his PhD in 2008. Dissertation title: "Supply Chain Security: An Institutional Theory Approach to Strategies and Outcomes." Dr. Williams is assistant professor of Logistics and Marketing at Central Michigan University.
Collin Barnes, from Knoxville, Tennessee, completed her PhD in 2007.
