看了CD上分享的语法笔记Manhattan有一个问题
the IN ORDER TO is not automatically too wordy; you should feel free to use IN ORDER TO.

这句话是错的我还是没懂为什么？
当这样时对Right: The building was demolished to keep it from falling down accidentally.
分析是It refers to THE BUILDING. Since BUILDING is the object of the infinitive, the version above is fine as written.）

manhattan下面的解释很 make sense.

“the building was demolished to keep it from falling down accidentally.”

# 主句（the building was demolished ）主语: unnamed people who demolished the building
# 这个主语与"to keep it fromt falling down" 一致

这里主要有个"it", 所以building 变成宾语了，而不是主句主语

不知道我的理解正确不正确

为什么不能是整个句子 the building was demolished 是 to avoid的发出者呢？

个人感觉 the buiding 变成 to avoid 的发出者了。
