在其他帖子我没有看到关于这个的回答，所以想请教一下大家，
暂且抛开growing的修饰对象有问题和在本题里的语意问题，我有一个新的疑问，就是，growing as big as 30 feet long andfamous for its aggressive hunting pods会不会有歧义？因为这个growing和省略掉的（be) famous for并列在一起，无法判断这个growing是实意动词的现在分词形式，还是be growing现在进行时态的省略。会出现这种歧义么，还是可以分辨出来？
我是做这个题，又看到一个关于状语从句省略的帖子，一个同学的总结说当例如while...里面实意动词和be动词同时存在，要省略就可以把主语和be省略掉，同时保留实意动词的现在分词，才产生的这个疑惑~~~
不知道我的问题有没有一点无厘头或者钻牛角尖，不过真的很希望有NN帮我分析一下，
