因为用了Since,所以主句用现在完成时，排除C和E，再加上the intentional discarding of lens caps, packing material, fuel tanks, and payload covers不是一个完整的句子，不能用连词连接，只能用介词等，排除A。D选项的There be在GMAT中表存在，一般不太会这么用在D中，而且D句有点复杂，不够简洁。另外，主谓不一致~
