求牛人解答! OG13-132 最不知所措的SC

做完了OG13的语法部分...其中大部分的题目很原来都没有什么变化..唯独这一题实在是令人十分纠结.. 也没看懂OG的答案的意思..求各位牛牛解答.
这题目有另一哥们之前发过但没有高手解答.重发一次求助啊!!!!


OG13-132：
Although appearing less appetizing than most of their round and red supermarket cousins, heirloom tomatoes, grown from seeds saved during the previous year – they are often green and striped, or have plenty of bumps and bruises-heirlooms are more flavorful and thus in increasing demand.

有牛人可以帮忙每个选项解释一下吗..太揪心了...TT

求解这个句子里in increasing是什么用法

C中 although的主语是they  如果不出现HT的话不会无指代么

我和22L有一样的疑问，同求baby姐解释！cousins紧挨they不会引起歧义么?

刷了3、4遍OG，斗胆说下自己对这题的见解

A：Although appearing less appetizing than most of their round and red supermarket cousins, heirloom tomatoes, grown from seeds saved during the previous year  
A选项although后面的省略是对的，即把主语和谓语省略掉（不懂的自行刷prep08），但！！在although这个分句完的时候，出现了该分句的主语HT，因此就不符合although引导让步状语从句省略的规则（主语谓语要省一起省，否则都别省），所以这里出现了大家所说的缺少谓语。。我觉得这样分析才是对的。

C：Although they appear less appetizing than most of their round and red supermarket cousins, heirloom tomatoes, grown from seeds saved during the previous year
这里大家应该明显看的出错误，即although已经有了主语，但是在后面又出现了主语HT，正如OG13解释中所提“superfluous”

D：Grown from seeds saved during the previous year, heirloom tomatoes appear less appetizing than most of their round and red supermarket cousins
小弟一开始就是选D的，因为当时写的时候在BD之前徘徊，而且回顾到“modifier1, S, modifier2, V..."这种格式能减少异议，所以就选了D。。。之后才发现，，，我犯了严重的错误，即选D的话，2个句子没有连词，这不是开玩笑呢么。。。所以我还是缺少那种关注”未划线部分“的能力。。。

E：Heirloom tomatoes, grown from seeds saved during the previous year, although they appear less appetizing than most of their round and red supermarket cousins
该错误跟C差不多，就是出现了2个主语。

我觉得这题的分析应该是这样的，个人见解。

对E选项OG的解释有点迷惑
Placing it later necessitates the pronoun "they" with antecedent "HT", which is redundant.
这句话是什么意思呢？

这个they are often green and striped紧跟着round and red supermarket cousins, 让我忍不住感觉这个they就是修饰cousins的.虽然从逻辑的角度讲这个they修饰heirloom tomatoes,意思是heirloom颜色发绿而且带条纹blablabla但heirloom好吃所以需求量大增.这个b选项的cousins紧挨they不会引起歧义么?

肯定有人能帮忙  想问清楚 C、E 中 they指代问题  怎么就指代seeds去了  seeds还是介词后面的  指代真的好晕  见到指代就想撕书！！！

我怎么认为插入语应该直接跟 要修饰的词后面，所以这个也是一个好的排除方法。
