正确答案是C没什么问题，但是OG上说A项
Furthermore,the dependent clause startingwith suggesting
may be construed with either the evidence
or the scientists, which makes this version
unnecessarily ambiguous.
但是A项中主句已经是完成时，suggesting只能是scientists的定语啊，为什么OG还这么说呢？

您这也不对吧。。。thought emergened是个啥啊，理解逻辑就是比科学家认为的时间早，前面不知道是几楼有一个would be的才是正确打开方式。逻辑啊逻辑

我已经被这些有的没的的语法给弄晕了，SC 错误答案的通病就是冗杂，冗杂很容易带来指代不清的问题，毕竟正常人谁会那样讲话。按正常逻辑，开头是digging，谁能digging，只能是人，A,B排除。C,D,E看，明显C更简洁。D，E有什么问题，谁能给我解释一下-than that which was & than that 是什么？？？　from XDF D【错误1】 句子意思：“evidence”暗示的内容应是“复杂生命形式出现的比之前认为的更早”，而不是“emergence”本身，因此(D)表意逊于(C)使用“complex life-forms emerged much earlier than previously thought”。【错误2】 固定搭配：不存在用“which”引导的定语从句修饰代词“that”的用法。E同理。

这种解释不对吧？这就是一种普通的省略啊...
Something is much earlier/ easier than something that sb. previously believed/ thought.
比较一定是要对等的啊
是因为省略可以understand，所以变得约定俗成了。

您这不是瞎解释么，原句可以随便加个which吗？加了which那还是个句子吗？GMAT中的which是这么用的吗？
