答案选b， 虽说此题考点不是分号，但是印象中分号隔开的一定是complete sentence,那么在此题中的几个分句是否缺少了主语呢？

我觉得OG这里说E是平衡的，是指由于使用的是分号，所以从they开始引领的是另一个完整的句子，这样从句子结构上来说和前面的句子平行。

这个是错误的吧，E选项三者并列，第一是aiding in ....第二是 they pollinate...第三是helping..明明是不平行的。

是这样的，PREP说分号的另一个作用就是隔开有很多逗号的句子，相当于一个大逗号。这里如果不用分号的话一逗到底不知道哪几项关系比较紧密。
