定语从句的引导词有时不必保留

如果定语从句的先行词在原来的句子中充当的时候宾语，那么修饰它的定语从句的引导词一般省略。
废话不多说，上原题。（语法大全第145题）

Astronomers at the Palomar Observatory have discovered a distant supernova explotion, one that they belive is a type previously unknown to science.
A-D全保留了that.
A that they belive is
B that they believe it to be
C that they believe it is of
D that belive that is
E正确选项 they belive to be
OG解释：
Choice E is best. The pronoun that in A and B should be deleted, since the pronoun one is sufficient to introduce the modifier and the sentence is more fluid without that
大全解释：
前面one that they believe is , 正常顺序they believe that one is...变成one+that定语从句, 因为one不作主语，所以一般省that, 后面believe +that宾语从句,在定语从句中出现的宾语从句，that一般也省，所以应该是one they believe is，不过这里believe宾语从句不如believe to do好。

另外补充一个关于定语从句的重要语法点（可能很多人都知道了），在先行词是人的时候，尽量不要用that而用who引导；当先行词是人的复数，如people的时候，绝对不能用that引导，只能用who 引导！

我猜的。。。算啦不用看了。。。20就剩俩星期就该二战了。。。看看错题吧~

that一般是不能省的，只不过这个题有个one已经能说明作用了，所以that就多余了，省略了。。。
