Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is better to choose a friend with whom you can have fun than to choose a friend that will help you when you are in need. Use specific examples to support your answer.

Nowadays, with the expansion influence of easy communication among people, like telephone, internet and instant messages. it is increasingly important for us make correct choice in making friend, a friend to have fun with or a friend who will help us out of trouble. For me, both kinds of friends are of great needed, which depends on the differences of situations.

When summer holiday is coming, what will happen if i spend the entire holiday with myself is hard to imagine. Therefore, a friend who i can have fun with will help to color my vacation life a lot. For example, jo, a friend of mine, he is such a kind person. i remember in my last high school summer holiday, in order to memory our beautiful three-year-long high school life, a trip to Hong Kongwas created. Though it was in the middle of July, long trip and hot weather, we still had joke with each other, talked about the past three years studying together and imagined about the coming future. Even now, I insist that the trip with jo was one of my most unforgettable and funny trips.

for other situation, when i am in trouble, a friend who is always willing to get me out of difficulties is whom I appreciate most, and i am lucky enough to have another friend Zoë, who is kind to assist those who are in trouble. Once, in the middle of nowhere, i lost my way to the city town hall, with no map, not enough money but only a Mobil phone. Zoë rang a bell in my mind immediately. i called her, she said no problem and drove her tiny old car to give me a ride within 15 minutes. Thanks for her kind heart, or i had to walk 4 hours without water and light!

In a word, hardly is it easy for us to make on or two close friends. Accordingly, friends of different kinds, who is easy to have fun with and who is willing to help me out of trouble, are all of equal importance for me.

Both ofthe professor and the writer explore the issue about whether hydrogen based fuel engine has advantages over the internal combustion engine for cars. The author lists three aspects of advantages to support that the hydrogen based fuel engine is a good solution. The speaker, on the contrary, insists that the writer is too optimistic in the hydrogen based engine because hydrogen is not the solution.

First, hydrogen is not as easily available as the writer described in the passage, claims the professor, its common present -water- is not the usable form of hydrogen to produce energy. The energy can only be produced through the pure liquid state of hydrogen, which is a highly artificial process. Besides, it is difficult to produce and store, which has to be kept in extremely cold environment that is -253 Degree Celsius听的好细节啊. Imagine how complex the technology could be, the fuel cell engine is not that practical and hydrogen is also not an easy approached substance. Therefore, this disproves its counterpart in the reading directly.

Moreover, the speaker declares that hydrogen is not the solution to the pollution problem. He explains that producing the pure hydrogen creates pollution. Purification technology is required to generate pure hydrogen, which needs energy that is provided by the burning of coals and oil. Accordingly, although cars are not the origin of pollution, the factories produce pure hydrogen are. Consequently, this is another place where experiences the contradicted theory.

At last, the lecturer asserts that hydrogen based fuel cell engine does not cost less. The reason is that platum, a kind of rare and expensive metal, is required in this engine. Without that the hydrogen cannot go through the process of chemical reaction in order to produce energy. Furthermore, the replacement of another cheaper material has so far been unsuccessful. Accordingly, the last point is rebutted.

In conclusion, the professor clearly identifies the weaknesses in the passage and convincingly shows that the central argument in the reading, the advantage of hydrogen based fuel cell engine overweighs that of internal combustion engine, is incorrect.

The society is developing, so does the accumulation of problems in today's world.Hundreds of thousands(留一个就好) African children are dying of starvation. Millions of people are losing their job in each minute in the rapidly changing economic world. Moreover, thousands tons of carbon dioxide is emitted into the atmosphere and worsen the global warming. The list of problems will go on. With such a large scale of problems, facing them necessitate the distribution of great endeavor into small parts. Therefore, hardly can there be a problem be solved in our lifetime.

To begin with, global warming, the most controversial problem that has been discussed fiercely is so severe that seems impossible to be enhanced. The recent research results from the academic group in Japan shows that the acceleration of the warming in worldwide is increasing by 12% compared with the same time in the past. What can people obtain from this piece if truth? More glacial is melting to destroy more available land in the populated area. Soaring temperature negatively affects the already hot tropical areas. Endangered animals died from the intolerable climate change which will impair human's food chains at last. When encountering with such a wide range and severe problem, human's devotion may not help. Additionally, only by controlling the emission of co2 can people solve this problem. However, this directly contradicted with the improving needs of lots of developing countries for an extent period of time. Due to those reasons, the wide influential range of the problem and the contradiction in the needs of some countries, problems cannot be solved in a limited length of time.

Another equally important point is that there are too many problems now showing on the stage require people’s attention. The outcome is that no one can gain enough attention. The ability of human is restricted, especially when facing with a complex world. Problems are coming from every aspects of the world-unevenly distribution of natural resources and capital, high extinction rate of wild animals and enlarged gap between the poor and the rich. Economy, nature and resource, are where thousands of problems generating from. Even if people own great power to deal with the difficulties, when distributing that power to diverse aspects, the efficiency will be impaired mostly. It is the same with students' studying. Using the limited time, space and attention to command eight difference courses makes it difficult to be done in quickly. Accordingly, hard it is indeed for people to achieve the goal of solving the problems in their lifetime.

Admittedly, others may against my point by stating that with assistance of advanced technology people can find the solutions sooner or later. The point is that those people are too optimistic. Up till now, not even an environmental problem is accomplished by technology. Furthermore, people have to devote much endeavor and time that can be utilized to solve problems in improving technologies. In all, nothing can be modified through this way.

In conclusion, the wideness spreading and the diverse classifying of problems, accompanied with the limited capital and time owned by people, produces the situation that cannot be corrected in people’s lifetime.

Do you agree or disagree, the most important investment for a company is to spend money to improve the work skills of its employees.
The ultimate goal of any company is to make profits, which depends on a variety of aspects. From the preparation of the least cost and most profitable raw material to the most suitable way of promotion about products to the potential customers, are crucial for a company's success. Apparently, the investments that insist a company to be the best are not limitedly in the working skills of its employees only. Therefore, personally, the statement -the most investment of a company should be spent in improving its employees' skills- is what I disagree strongly.
To begin with, investment should also be put into the research of advertising products, especially to the potential consumers. If the company possesses the ability to produce the best products in the country, another factor needed to consider is that whether people are aware about the high quality of this kind of product. Consequently, this is where advertisement comes up. Investment devoted into this research has to cover a vast range of subjects such as the age of potential consumers, their geographic locations and the time to advertise. No wonder it necessitates investment to success. Imagine that a company sells the best boats in the country promotes its products to people who even have not seen ocean or river, what will happen? No purchase indeed, which is due to the lacking in research investment that company cannot make the right advertisement based on the research results. Accordingly, input of enough investment is necessary in this field either.
Another equally important point is that the technologies or the facilities used to produce products should be keep in pace with the world class level, which requires great investment. Even the company owns the top employees, who are well trained and can produce things in exchange for countless profits, without the proper equipment, not even a single product can be created. In this way, the investment to improve employees' skills is useless. I used to hear story from my grandpa that describes about the harsh working environment in the past. Each employee was highly skilled with flexible hands. The problem is that the machines were too old to accelerate the process of earning money. Lacking in the investment to upgrade the machines and technologies, the best employee can do nothing about it. At least, comparison between human labor and productivity of a machine is unfair clearly. Therefore, no investment in improving equipment, no enough output, needless to talk about the profits.
Admittedly, others may against my point by insisting that employees are people who control the equipment, and machines cannot work by themselves. However, the truth is that nowadays, in the developed countries, 72% of the products can be generated without the watching of human, according to a recent studying in the United State. Simply by the advanced machine and technology people can achieve more than they can imagine. Accordingly, the power of investment in other area cannot be overlooked.
In conclusion, investments in researching about the method to advertise products and upgrading the facilities are even more important than improving the employees' skills.

1Why would they repair the cellingceiling unless Chevalier really escaped as he describe

Sorry 这句后面的as he describe 没有看到, describe 应为过去式

2 his old prison room

。。所以就
prison带过了。。

3 bribe to freedom

这个地方感觉for 更好,或者用bribe their way to freedom

4 he had wealth

5 Chevalier spent large amount of money on parties and gambling and he had wealthwhich is(was) a kind of property that have to salesell first.
