People who are the most deeply committed to an ideaor policy are also the most critical of it.

At hand is the issue about whether people will be fastidious about an idea or policy.An idea or policy, the speaker points out, is also the most critical one for people if people are the most deeply committed to it, statement that is in fact unilateral, however.So, frankly, I don’t agree with the statement and my reasons are as follows.



Indeed, some people will take much time to an idea or policy if it is very significant.Under this condition, it is very likely to cause these people to be fastidious.For example, a loving pair will ask one another to change a great many of habits when they fall in deep love.Another example is my schoolmate Liu Lu, who contributes to and cracks a math conjecture which floored mathematicians for nearly twenty years, carps at every detail of his essay about the conjecture.From this view of point, we cannot deny that people will do something too drastic when they concentrate on it.



However, there are another people different with those people who are fastidious.These people, who are always easy to be satisfied, seem may not carp at an idea or policy, even though they consider it critical.Furthermore, if people are used to do anything perfectly, they will probably carp at such little things even though they are insignificant.Different people hold different attitudes toward what they do, so it is unilateral to indicate the statement that the speaker points out.



People’s reaction to the events that they consider crucial due to their targets set.If people are committed to an idea or policy, they are bound to set up some targets for it.For the people who do things delicately and seriously, they might be yearning, assiduous and anxious during their chasing their objectives.Thus, they will set a high standard and pay attention to each small detail in order to make things better.And for the people who seem to be easily contented, they might be calm, leisurely and unhurried while making their goal become real.Therefore, they may not take too much attention on details and they just want to complete their missions no matter how is the outcome.



In sum, the statement that people who are committed to an idea or policy can be indeed critical of it has its value to some degree.For the simple reason that people will cause strong emotions swings when care too much about something.But it is more understandable to explain it as people’s demand for themselves.It is their demand that reflect their attitudes and behaviors in chasing their goals.

这里当挑剔写就狭隘了，也没什么辩证的意味。
statement that is in fact unilateral，这句话感觉跟前面的衔接有问题，两个句子之间用逗号，你要有连接词，另外这句话本身我主要是不理解ｔｈａｔ是作何理解

嗯嗯。好像中人那个理解写出来的东西会比较有有辩证的味道。

感觉不对劲儿啊。。。
题目的意思貌似是谁对某个注意或者政策最投入，谁最有鉴别力or批判力。不是挑剔的意思吧。

好的。。谢谢中人了。。避免过多的重复性词汇是我最近一直在想怎么解决的。。。估计也只能不断的记单词和写作文了。。

statement that is in fact unilateral是说speaker的观点有点片面。。这个貌似是从哪看到的。所以就一直在用这句了

我当时查了下词典。be critical of有挑剔和吹毛求疵的意思。。我就有“因为很在乎，所以要求多”的想法。。然后发现写不下去了·····就乱写了··
