答案是D,我想不明白的是
1.从并列的角度看，succeed in doing，那and的后面就应该是producing energy...了，所以排除CDE
2.enough for后面也要并列的话A也不符合，那就只剩B了，但是B的并列也不严格，而且B很罗嗦

答案选D难道是因为严格遵守enough for generating electricity efficiently and for heating的并列吗~~

楼主理解错了，produce energy是succeeded in mining heat from the Earth's interior 的目的。所以应该是表目的应该是 to produce。

然后produce energy on a commercial scale 了以后 energy就可以enough for generating.....and for heating...
