I am so glad you clarified this my friend—yes, in fact if you are 100% SURE that you are interested in finance, then it is an easy decision: SIMON! Simon has a better finance program than many top programs, including Cornell, Yale, BC and others. It is known for finance—if you are interested in finance, it is a great option. Even in the top 15, nationwide, in that field. That is our advice my friend, go to Simon…
Dear Jon, thanks so much for your reply! I seek your kindly help for choosing schools. Actually now I have received three offers from Simon, Smeal, and GWU. I would like to focus on corporate finance for my MBA study, and I hope I can find a job in US after graduation. So could you please tell me which school should I take considering the factor of job placement? Many thanks again for your advice~!
Heeello my friend, happy to help here. In fact, this is a very tough decision. The two schools are similar in many ways. But what do you want to study? After all, Simon is GREAT for finance of course. You need to take the money OUT of the equation, since that is not a major consideration. After all, have you compared the two school’s job statistics upon graduation? While Simon is a much bigger program (which is to their BENEFIT I believe) starting salaries at Simon are much LOWER than those at Penn State. Now THAT is a serious consideration, wouldn’t you say?
