四大accounting 背景 想申請top 7 MBA

各位高手好

我是一個傳統四大背景 (2.5 yr audit) 目前已經轉到四大advisory serivce裡做valuation

希望再工作兩年後能念 wharton, chicago, columbia 等級的學校 然後轉職到IBD

但我也意識到每年成千上萬的四大er都在申請MBA  我感覺很難跟其他四大er differentiate有甚麼很大的差別(就工作經驗來說)

轉到valuation group也只是希望工作內容能不一樣跟IB沾一點邊

想請問這裡其他四大的高手 或已經順利申請到top MBA的四大er 妳們都是怎麼craft 妳們的essay來脫引而出 或是我這兩年內還可以做甚麼

畢竟真的每年前撲後繼的四大人申請 工作內容又大同小異 而且的確比較少聽到pure四大背景人申請到top 5 MBA 通常都是排名15到10之間

Some suggestions from ex-big 4er

1. Have to get a high G/T Score. G>750, T>105
2. Have fancy stories outside your job
3. Have a very attractive yet convincing career goal. Better not say you are gonna do banking, PE, VC....If you do, you have to be very specific.
4. Strong committment to the school you applied. Better do campus visit.
5. Being female or gay will significantly increase the odds

Thomas讲的是挺好的。
补充一个的是，由于四大背景太过一致，本科学校会成为一个很明显的加分点，Top4的学生有一些优势。
我还是建议四大的申请人至少要有一个四大外的工作经验，即跳出来做一段时间再申请。

同样在四大Valuation呆过的人的建议是，Valuation可以直接转IBD，转了以后再申MBA吧IBD也不是让你做一辈子的career

這位大哥 你有認識的例子嗎? 我目前沒看過有人直接從valuation直接轉到IBD 到boutique做valuationg related是滿多
