1.当过去分词在句末时,不管有无逗号,都是就近修饰名词;
2.现在分词在句末时,无逗号是就近修饰的名词的定语;
所以OG127C选项:"thephrase having been assigned...is uncertain in reference,making the sentenceunclear."-->就是说这个现在分词本来是应该修饰前面的employee,却变成了修饰主语governments.

Neuroscientists, having amassed a wealth ofknowledge over the past twenty years about the brain and its development frombirth to adulthood, are now drawing solid conclusions about how the humanbrain grows and how babies acquire language.
(A) Neuroscientists, having amassed a wealth of knowledge over the pasttwenty years about the brain and its development from birth to adulthood, are
(B) Neuroscientists, having amassed a wealth of knowledge about thebrain and its development from birth to adulthood over the past twenty years,and are
(C) Neuroscientists amassing a wealth of knowledge about the brain andits development from birth to adulthood over the past twenty years, and are
(D) Neuroscientists have amassed a wealth of knowledge over the pasttwenty years about the brain and its development from birth to adulthood,
(E) Neuroscientists have amassed, over the past twenty years, a wealthof knowledge about the brain and its development from birth to adulthood,
The final descriptor in present tense,nowdrawing conclusions....does not fit the opening clause, which is in present-prefect tense(have amassed awealth)and seems to midify adulthood.

我想这就是OG所说的does not fit的意思。

因为从逻辑上来看的话,"having been prescribed a drug ..."和"having been taken off drug too soon"如果理解成名词性质的短语,倒也都是“inadequate treatment”的一种具体形式。

154. (33193-!-item-!-188;#058&006626)

Some patients who donot respond to therapies for depression may simply have received inadequatetreatment, having, for example, beenprescribed a drug at a dosage too low to be effective or having been takenoff a drug too soon.
(A) having, for example, beenprescribed a drug at a dosage too low to be effective or having been

(B) having, for example, a drugprescription that was ineffective because the dosage was too low, or being

(C) as, for example, having too lowof a dosage of a prescribed drug for it to be effective, or being

(D) when they have, for example,been prescribed too low a drug dosage to be effective, or were

(E) for example, when they have adrug prescription with a dosage too low to be effective, or been
