我也有疑问B的in加不加的问题。我看了很多帖子关于单复数问题具体如下：

但rate在这里如果是单数的话，就是一个个体，后面is about the same。这个要比较最起码都要两个对象以上。那么一个rate 怎么能说 about same呢！ 并且你可以看到后面的their death rates ，也可以推断用复数！
但是B选项的in 的问题还没搞懂求大牛现身！！
