但是对B选项的OG的解释有点疑惑：
B选项OG解释说“in the second clause,the comparative terms "more than"should immediately follow "$5 a barrel",是因为缺少比较宾语所以要补上吗？为什么A选项more than之后则不需要follow "$5 a barrel"呢？？

我想问bala的是你举得这个例子中Incorrect: I paid 5 dollars for my sandwich more than I did yesterday.这个错误的例子是根本就不make sense呢还是说有别的意思？就是说从中文方面怎样理解这个incorrect的例子呐？
这道题目中我也只是知道more要紧5，但是我一直没搞清楚错误选项中more的位置是本身就完全没有意义呢还是说会造成歧义？？

more than 的位置不同，句子的意思也是不同的，这个解释来自Gmatclub，LZ看看：
the word "more" is not correctly placed.

Correct: I paid 5 dollars more for my sandwich today than I did yesterday.

Incorrect: I paid 5 dollars for my sandwich more than I did yesterday.

"More" describes $5 and must therefore be placed next to $5.

我觉得B最明显的错误就是用了一般现在时“because refiners pay"表示通常性，规律性，习惯性。
