请问国内的几个MBA各自的特色是什么呢

lz想申请2012的MBA，未来就想在国内混了，所以想申国内和香港的。

请问Ceibs, CUHK, HKUST, HKU,还有清华的国际项目（这个还要参加国内的联考，觉得好麻烦。。。）这几所各自的特点是什么呢？

p.s.前天刚考完gmat，710，会不会有点低？感觉现在gmat分数有越来越高的趋势，我这个成绩好像也不算啥了。。。

1. ranking is very noisy. in certain areas, CKGSB can be argubaly top 10. For example, in finance, marketing and operations management in terms of influence per faculty

2. In terms of the seniority and success of the EMBA students, no school comes close to the continued financial growth of CKGSB EMBA alumni after graduation

3. MBA needs to expand to 3 classes to have impact. CKGSB EMBA 2011 is 660 CEIBS 750. CKGSB MBA 2011 enrollment is 60 CEIBS is 180. size is important. Basically, the top 300 students are all very good and it is hard to tell at this stage. The schools with a larger size will have more impact. Look at Wharton and Harvard, they all have > 850 MBA per year. CKGSB needs to get either more quota from the Ministry of Education or give up the Ministry of Education degree. Just offer their own diploma like CEIBS. CKFMBA will be a dominant force in 3-5 years. The only competition comes from SAIF as they  have a similar structure as CKGSB except that they only have finance faculty.

4. The real core competence of CKGSB is its faculty governance and independence. With that basic structure, it will have a very solid foundation to build on. In addition, CKGSB emphasizes soft skills, real world setting and out of the box thinking. A top business school should provide some basic principals and let people think on their own in a real world setting.

CKGSB has lost some stars like Chen Hong, Liu Jun to SAIF, Huang MIng, Chiang Jeongwen to CEIBS but also gained some like Chaired Professor of Marketing, Sun Baohong from CMU, Chen Long from Olin. Now it has close to 40 faculties including some assistant Professors. It has a more balanced portfolio, not just established stars but also some up and coming young turks.

I've got an advice for CK——Ask the CDC/CMC prepare a more fancy report with more details, and should also involve FMBA, then we can easily get the correct message, instead of rumors around us.

So HKUST is the best in HK? However it's said that UST prefers students with financial background, so I guess I have very small chance....
Agreed with grossman's comment on Tsinghua, but I found its international project quite compelling, what do you guys think?

Hi Grossman, I've got 3 questions, as you know things about CKGSB & CEIBS.


1) 9 years passed since CKGSB was founded, now do you think is possible for it to become a top 10 around 2012 or 2013? Why?


2) Actually is the same question. The future. As the further of CEIBS is predictable easily, so we would not spend time to discuss it. No doubt, CKGSB achieve great success in EMBA field, but MBA is not as successful as that, and also FMBA is totally a new things. So according to that, how do you feel about the future of CKGSB(maybe in 3-5 years)?



3) What is the real core competence of CKGSB? Faculty? No offense, but we can see the loss of the faculty, I mean does CKGSB relay on the star too much? Coz every time the star went away, could really break the CKGSB fans' heart, also impact their faith about CKGSB (I talked to few candidates who between the offers )



Quite frankly, a guy like me who has great interest about CKGSB, questions above should be the final ones.
