Hello everyone,
I am working in one of the BB in a managment trainee program. However, it's damned based on shanghai.
I choosed this offer and reject a tier 1 bank's Fixed income sales becasue I believe I could work my way in managment trainee program to finanly been placed in trading desk.
When i was on board, the company decided to move all the head account in global markets back to HK. So i was stuck here.
I am still very interesting in trading cause I am a big fan of Yra Harris, a famous trader in Chicago and I run a game global marco fund for 5 years. The first thing greeting me in the monrning is Bettey Liu's In The Loop on Bloomberg. I really love that job.
Although this job now can provide me a pettey good life standard, I am still looking to attend a top MBA and get a Sales & Trading job in APAC. Is that possiable and feasible for me to get such job though MBA? I have already aquried a Quant Finance degree in a top engineering school.

如果在商行做Trader，攒几年经验跳去IB不就行了？商行、投行面对的都是同样的市场。MBA不会教你及时止损、适时止盈，不会锻炼你的市场感觉。想当年Jim Rogers想读MBA的时候，有位前辈对他说：你读两年书还不如做空一手大豆呢！

We r on the exact same boat. lol

I am now working in Commerical banking..but i am more interesting in Investment Banking
So that's suck....

希望楼主T是waived. if your essay opening sentence contains "based on Shanghai", then you're doomed.
