is  not so much...as....我的理解是：is not because of this, but more because of that.
根据一个专家（的意见），狗品种基因的不规则的原因一不是因为狗根据外表长相来配种，二也不是为了迎合其它狭隘的标准，而是因为狗品种在起初就很少。
