B中前半句的中的IS错误， 我翻到前面斑斑的解释说这里的is 如果改成do 就对了，问题是为什么不改成has? 是不是说这里的has 是实义动词，意思是有，所以替代的时候直接用do就可以
C中前半句的比较有错误吗？有人说是size和area比较，怎么我觉得挺对的呢？ OG解释说后面的many of them中的them指代不清楚，为什么呢？

关于“HAS”和“DO”的问题，我同意你的理解。

AREA和SIZE是一个意思。你可以说Laos has a land area about the same size as Great Britain; 或者说Laos has a land area about the same as that of Great Britain. 但因为AERA和SIZE同义，不能重复使用。Laos has a land area that is about the same size as Great Britain' s land area.

我是从曼哈顿的Instructor那里看到的，他们是教GMAT的老师，他们说这个可以比，但是不是很好

我觉得应该是does而非do 然后好多GMAT题目里面，实义动词在后面出现基本上都以do/does/did之流代替

然后至于那个them. 我觉得有两种理解方式
1.but的重心在population上面，但是这个地方用的them，虽然OG解释的是the reference is unclear，但是也可以把这个Unclear理解成为指代错误
2. but在这个地方造成了一个run-on 因为but后面必须接一个clause, 但是这个地方是两个介词短语, 那么them在这个地方就应该往前面指,但是前面根本就没有them 可指代的东西 所以也是unclear  

其实这道题我也是特别纠结的。。 昨天总结这道题的时候用了我30分钟以上...

B) S has O ... the same size as GB is, 错误，因为有歧义，要补充出主位，就要用助动词。
has- 一般现在时，helping verb -- do/does， 我想如果用同样的动词就会redundant!

C) Laos has a land area that is about  .... GB's land area. - redundant "a land area"

that is - redundant

many of them + are , 改变了句子的中心，强调 but  many of them are ... . 而句子要表达Laos has a land area but a population...
