选校求助 Wisconsin Madison QMF v.s. Gatech QCF v.s. UIUC MSFE v.s. Rutgers MQF

国内小本，绝非牛人，收到这些ad受宠若惊。
希望能尽快作出决定，方便其他申请的朋友们。
不知道大家能不能多给我一些建议，谢谢大家了！ 祝大家一切顺利！

I am from Wisc. This program is not pre-PhD at all.
The advantage here is you can find what you want.

Because wisc is a large public school, you can find almost every course you want. Want PhD? you can take more econ; want to be a quant? wisc has excellent math and cs department to support; want to be simply MBA style? selecting courses within business school is just easy.

Placement:100% for people I know so far. In midwest it is not like in NYC. You don't have to get into big name IB to enjoy a decent life. A lot of hedge fund employs 2-3 people, and it is a fund! You have idea, find a friend with sources to money, you are in the business. Lots of funds in Wisconsin is in this style. QMF graduates have a long history to go to hedge fund, instead of IB quant; and I think this style is better than coding as a quant, touching no finance....

MFE是CS向下的,也可以是MATH向下的,也可是是IE向下的..一般来说,是CS混APPLIED MATH
工科GATECH本来就和UIUC差不多..只不过UIUC是侧着EE和CS,一个是IE
但是UIUC MFE是开在IE下的,
GETACH是开在CS下的(貌似?)
真搞不懂...
就业?两个都可以洗洗睡了...
这年头非前10的MFE都很难就业...要有心理准备,IB?都是非TARGET school,地区性倒是有戏
听GATECH的同学说,去年就业可以忽略;UIUC今年也不好,才2,3个人找到SUMMER实习

大神，就业真的那么难吗？为什么我在linkedin上海量搜集信息，发现我搜索过的IIT的中国人有一半都在那边暑假实习或者OPT实习呢？
