答案选D ABC都排除得很自如，E那里错了。。which 指代bricks没有错啊，可以跳跃修饰的吧，而且谓语动词是were，为什么解释上说是在修饰mud or clay了....为什么 为什么~~

被动形式 + 指代错误 （原文的意思是指代bricks，但实际却指代成了mud or...）  个人意见

which一般只能是就近指代吧 指代距离最近的 所以应该是指代由or连接的名词性词组吧 所以谓语该是was  而且用了被动形式 一般认为主动比被动更有效吧

这个问题想多了，，，E选项中是想让which指代brisks，因此后面用了were。可实际上which只能指代mud or clay而不能跳过谓语指代主语。


根据句子意思来判断，E错的太离谱了，看懂这句话要表达的意思——最常用的方式是1.form the bricks 2.lay the bricks。这里1、2两个步骤是并列的顺次发生的动作，先1再2，所以必然使用and连接两个并列的先后发生的独立的动作，而E中却改为了定语从句的形式，大错！

这题太明显啦。D很优美很对称很美好
E我认为，method that bricks are,,,,,which,,,,后面的主语一直是brick.你也可以说整句 表明的是一种方法，不过显然不如D中用forming...来修饰method好。
我自己的看法。轻拍O(∩_∩)O哈哈~
