OG解释里面有一条说到主谓关系，说主语inventories不能够接leads，但是个人理解本句主语应该是
Rising inventories， 动名词做主语，望指正。

我觉得rising inventories 是指行为，不是物，所以后面不能接动词lead

LZ可以这样理解：
rising看做形容词修饰inventories， adj+n. 结构。 翻译成‘上涨的存货’

要是把rising换成raising的话，后面就可以接leads了，翻译成‘增加存货’
rise不及物的，不能直接接n.


但是这题我不是很明白
would的存在，would应该作为will的过去式解释。所以这句话是 虚拟语气 么？？

不能够接leads是单复数的关系
而且rising inventories也不叫动名词
类似skiing这种才叫动名词。上面的只能叫名词短语

个人感觉courtdancer同学的解释和OG是一个路子，rising inventories相当于一个偏正短语，核心词还是inventories.  谢谢大家。

我不知道你所说的物指的是什么
rising inventories也是物啊，只不过是有修饰的物
有修饰是为了更加清楚的表述是增长的存货，而不是存货本身，也不是存货的增长造成了后面的结果

关于名词性修饰语用单数和复数
只看核心词就可以了吧，inventories很明显是名词，所以用复数

呵呵， 我也跟GWD学过， correspondling的确能区分，可是在联系中我还是想把这些点都弄明白，谢谢。

感觉E句意最清晰， correspondingly感觉没有corresponding爽，如果你不能判断leads和can lead 你就判断别的句子之间的差异点，GWD教的
