   为什么选E?我曾错选了B,因为我理解成 three best novels ever written by美国黑人。我以为三本最好的美国黑人写的小说。但是题目的意思是one written by a black american,美国黑人写的只是用来修饰只有cane这本书的。我查了一下后面的Richard Wright是个白人，不用查第三个人，其实已经明白了题目的意思。题目所说的 three best novels是指历史上最好的三本小说，而不是历史上最好的美国黑人写的三本小说。所以肯定不能选B。除了不恰当，也不符合事实。

including后面要把所有的三个都列举上，而不是只写其他两个

好吧，答案确实该是E。主要还是以下两点：
1、by sb.不如sb's来得好，无论是从平行，还是从ETS所青睐的搭配来看；
2、including指代不清。

楼主，不同意你的看法。首页，RW是一名黑人作家，“黑人作家。1908年9月4日生于密西西比州纳切兹附近的一个种植园里。祖父是奴隶，父亲是种植园工人，后弃家出走。”。
接下来，从句子结构角度，如果按你的说法，written by Black Americans是修饰one，那么前面的ever怎么安排？
这道题选B或者E我不能确定（我个人选了B，因为E中的"the others being" is so awkward，但是E中的平行确实更好），但是这个分析我不赞同。
